Projects:
Google Scholar site: link here
- Fish biology and ecology focused on life history traits (age, growth reproduction, migration...).
- Sclerochronology in fishes: estimation of age and growth from the marks recorded and conserved in calcified structures (mainly otoliths, but also scales, fin rays, vertebrae), and applications to tropical and temperate populations. Otolith microchemistry for migration studies.
- Studied environments: all aquatic ecosystems, but more specifically coastal areas including mangrove.
- Recent studies dedicated to conservation of both fish populations and habitats.
Projects:
- MALMON (Mangroves, mangrove rice and mangrove people: sustainably improving rice production ecosystems and livelihoods) - H2020 DeSIRA project
- WAMBA-net (West African Marine Fish DNA Barcoding Network) - GDRI Sud IRD project
- SEA-UNICORN (Unifying approaches to marine connectivity for improved resource management for seas) - H2020 COST Action project
