On Thursday 30 June, a delegation from the Nelson Mandela University (NMU) visited our site in Montpellier, Triolet campus. This allowed exchanges between our two organisations, in particular on opportunities for future collaborative projects in the South West Indian Ocean.
NMU and MARBEC are already collaborating on several projects: MARBEC researcher David Kaplan is currently on a Long Duration Mission at NMU, and NMU and MARBEC scientists were together on board the Marion Dufresne for the RESILIENCE campaign in May 2022.
