Francis MARSAC (IRD, MARBEC), leader of the Saya de Malha ecosystem study project, and Jérôme BOURJEA (Ifremer, MARBEC), leader of GECOS Marine Turtles, will participate to the round tables:
11h30-13h00 : « L’île invisible – Saya de Malha » (Francis Marsac, Dass Bissessur, Ranjeet Bhagooli, Nuette Gordon, Philippe Bouchet, Sheena Talma),
14h45-16h15 : « Îles visibles » (Frauke Fleischer-Dogley, Priscilla Coopen, Prerna Roy, Jérôme Bourjea, Mattéo Contini, Gwennaïs Fustemberg, Olivier Brunel, Didier Zoccola, Heather Koldewey, Sheena Talma).

the "Indian Ocean Mission", organised from 10 October to 22 November 2022 with the participation of numerous institutions including IRD, Ifremer and CNRS, allowed the study of two maritime spaces: the Saya de Malha area and a selection of islands and seamounts located along the mission route.
