From 25 to 28 October, organisation by AfriMAQUA of two training workshops in marine aquaculture, in Namibia and Côte d'Ivoire

The workshop on integrated aquaculture will be held at the Sam Nujoma Campus of the University of Namibia in Henties Bay, and will include talks by Maria Darias (IRD) and South African scientists from the University of Cape Town, John Bolton & Marissa Brink-Hull, and the Aquaculture Research and Development Directorate of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment, Brett Macey and Mark Cyrus.

In Côte d'Ivoire, the workshop, which will take place at the aquaculture station of the Centre de Recherches Océanologiques in Layo (Dabou), will focus on marine fish farming and will be conducted by Chris Fouché of the Aquaculture Research and Development Directorate of the South African Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment.
