First survey on global limits: twelve interviews with experts

Understanding the globality of ecological issues and exploring solutions for the future are the objectives of Audrey BOEHLY, journalist, who interviewed Dennis MEADOWS, 50 years after the publication of his book « Rapport Meadows » published with two other researchers from MIT. Audrey BOEHLY then interviewed twelve experts, including Philippe CURY (IRD, MARBEC), and compiled these interviews in the book "Last Limits - Learning to live in a finite world".

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Meadows report, the publishing house Rue de l'échiquier, the third place La REcyclerie and the media outlet Socialter have organised a series of conferences around the question of planetary limits which will end on Tuesday 04 April 2023 with an evening entitled "Last Limits: how to live in a finite world", on the occasion of the publication of the book Last Limits.
The scientific journalist Audrey BOEHLY, the oceanographer Philippe CURY, the agronomist Marc DUFUMIER and the sociologist Dominique MÉDA will discuss together where we stand with regard to the different collapse scenarios announced by the Meadows report, but also explore solutions and perspectives for the future.
