During this seminar on 10 April 2025, Xavier COUSIN (INRAE, MARBEC) will give a talk on ‘Marine pollution, sources, effects on biodiversity and solutions’ at 11.05am at the Seaquarium in Le Grau-du-Roi. Presented on the 3 sites of Agropolis International - Montpellier, the Biodiversarium - Banyuls-sur-Mer, and the Seaquarium in Le Grau-du-Roi, each conference is retransmitted by videoconference to the other sites. Only the Montpellier site is open to the public, but registration is compulsory: you must register to take part in any of the face-to-face sessions. Participation is not possible at other sites.
At a time of growing challenges linked to the loss of biodiversity, climate change and the over-exploitation of natural resources, the coastline and marine environments play a crucial role in the ecological and economic balance of our territories.
This seminar, organised by Agropolis International in partnership with the Rectorat de l'Académie de Montpellier, aims to explore the risks and vulnerabilities of these fragile ecosystems under severe pressure.
